In the state of Illinois all real estate transactions are required to purchase title insurance. It is customary in our state for the seller to purchase the title insurance for the buyer. As such, it is standard procedure for the seller's attorney to select which title company to use for each transaction.
In the most basic terms, title insurance protects your property from any potential claims or previously unknown liens on the property.


I work as a title insurance sales representative for Doma Title Company. I have enjoyed working in the real estate space for over 17 years. My first job was working at a real estate law firm and I worked there up until around 2020 when I moved to my current position at Doma Title.

The knowledge and experience I gained working at a real estate law office gives me a unique perspective in the world of title insurance as I know first hand the challenges and pain points that the home buyer/seller, real estate agent, and attorney deal with when working through a real estate transaction.

When I’m not working you can find me hiking/camping with my fiancée, Carlie, and our dog Zero. I’ve been borderline obsessed with baseball since the time I could walk and while I’m a Cubs fan first and foremost I enjoy watching just about any team not named the Cardinals. I also enjoy playing volleyball as much as I can. I was fortunate enough to go to college on a volleyball scholarship and always appreciate playing some beach volleyball on the Lake Michigan beaches come summertime.

After moving out of the city a couple years back Carlie, Zero, and I moved out to Hinsdale where we currently reside.

The bottom line with title insurance is that it protects your most valuable investment, your property. With that in mind, it’s not something that you should entrust to someone who lacks experience or knowledge, both of which I can confidently state I have. I have worked in this business since I’ve been 16, I’ve worked on over 25,000 real estate transactions, and I’ve seen the life cycle of the transaction from multiple different working perspectives.


Which is all to say, I have the experience, knowledge, skills, and dedication to providing my business partners and their clients with the highest level of service.
